This resonates with me. To share my stories of my life with our son, I spill my feelings in a publication here called Playing God. Our son is semi independent, semi able to function like a whole adult. We are tired but we love him and even on the most difficult days, we keep holding to hope — hope for him to be okay once we are gone. We’ve set it up pretty perfectly but autism always throws that curveball. Thanks for this story. I am fortunate to have read it today.
